Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is available for people seeking initial treatment as well as those who have already completed a higher level of care. The adolescent program meets 3 times a week from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. Each participant will take an active role in developing an individualized treatment plan to ensure the development of skills and behaviors that lead to a healthy and sober life.
Our IOP clients participate in group and individual therapy sessions. Our groups focus on topics including healthy relationship building, communication skills, and the importance of developing future plans and goals. A portion of group sessions is dedicated to psychoeducation, which includes Narbis, 12-step education, and other topics that impact adolescent well-being. Narbis measures brain activity through neurofeedback, helping the client increase their ability to focus. We offer tutoring and educational support to our clients who are struggling academically.
Families are expected to attend bi-weekly community group on Tuesday evenings and individually scheduled family sessions. Families of those struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders require care and support of their own. Our program allows families to heal alongside their loved one while learning to support them in the healthiest and most helpful way possible. We see greater success when families are involved throughout the treatment process.
Our clients are considered teammates rooting for each other’s success, relying on one another and our staff for support. We begin the process at evaluation and continue through other outside activities including community service, to encourage the concept of community and mutual support.
