Rebecca Marvin, MAC, LGPC is an Outpatient Therapist at Recovery Centers of America and has 5 + years of clinical experience working in trauma related to childhood abuse and domestic violence throughout the lifespan, developmental challenges, and at-risk youth.

She graduated from Kutztown University with her bachelor’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice. She obtained her master’s degree at Arcadia University in Counseling with concentrations in Child and Family Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis. Rebecca started as a counseling intern at Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, Child Advocacy Center, where she worked with children, adolescents, and their families to process and work through sexual trauma. She then worked in DC providing multisystemic therapy for at-risk youth and their families. She worked extensively providing therapy to individuals who experienced domestic violence and sexual trauma at a non-profit agency in Charles County. She also provided crisis intervention to domestic violence and sexual assault victims in the ER and facilitated Abuser Intervention Program groups.

Rebecca has worked with co-occurring diagnoses of mental health and substance abuse throughout the various populations she has worked with and is motivated to provide a holistic approach to treatment utilizing the skills and experiences she has developed as a therapist.
