Recovery Centers of America Capital Region offers evidence-based outpatient treatment from our outstanding staff at our secure and comfortable facility. RCA Capital Region is located conveniently just outside of the Capital Beltway with direct access to Virginia and the District of Columbia – and our telehealth services can serve the entire state of Maryland.
Whether you are transitioning from our inpatient treatment program or coming directly to our outpatient treatment program without experiencing our inpatient care, we provide a seamless process to help you find the treatment that best fits your needs. Our flexible schedule offers you the ability to focus on your recovery while also supporting your outside obligations. We know that each and every day of your recovery is earned, and we will help you make the most of how you spend yours.

A key to your long-term recovery, whether you are starting your journey or continuing it, lies within outpatient. Your treatment may be available in-person, online via HIPAA compliant web and video conferencing, or a combination of both.
With RCA’s online treatment, you’re getting the same world-class treatment, with expert therapists and an evidence-based curriculum, RCA is known for – delivered virtually. If distance to our sites, health concerns, transportation challenges or other personal responsibilities are holding you back, RCA’s online treatment is your solution. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, computer, or laptop to get started.

We are in-network with many insurance providers. If you don’t see your insurance provider listed, call us to confirm whether we take your insurance and to discuss options.

Outpatient OBOT: Receive a take-home prescription for Suboxone
RCA at Capital Region provides Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) as part of our outpatient care. OBOT is a type of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in that it utilizes medication to help clients reach recovery. Specifically, our doctors can prescribe Buprenorphine – Suboxone and Subutex (for pregnant women) – while receiving Outpatient care. Your evaluation and all follow-up visits will be virtual and you’ll receive your Outpatient treatment and Suboxone prescription virtually.

Weekly alumni meetings
Our treatment doesn’t stop when you leave our facility. Our regional alumni program helps sustain long-term recovery by providing an ongoing support network. One of the best ways you can sustain and support long-term recovery is to stay involved in Recovery Centers of America Alumni Association.
