Recovery Centers of America at Waldorf Hosts First-ever “United Against Addiction” Education Summit

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) at Waldorf, Maryland Center for Addiction Treatment held its first-ever “United Against Addiction” event for the Southern Maryland region on June 28, with the goal of educating community members about the nation’s addiction epidemic and how individuals, families and entire communities are being torn apart by the scourge of drug and alcohol abuse.

“The ‘United Against Addiction’ event is kind of a celebration of our community and our efforts to counteract the scourge of opioid addiction in our community, as well as drug and alcohol addiction and the harm that it creates,” RCA at Waldorf CEO Adam Brickner said. “This event is an opportunity for the community to come together and push back against that issue.”
